Beanie Sigel could face some time behind bars for skipping out on his taxes a few years ago.

WPVI in Philadelphia reports that the rapper admitted yesterday that he failed to file his taxes from 2003 to 2005. It was part of plea deal that could see him spending up to three years in prison.

Prosecutors claim that Beanie made $1 million in unreported incoming and he owes $350,000 on that sum. The rapper’s lawyer, Fortunato Perri Jr., said he plans to contest those totals. The defense plans to argue that the Philadelphia rapper had someone else handling his finances during some of the time in question because he was already in prison.

Beanie, a former Roc-A-Fella Records artist, was charged with tax fraud back in October 2010. He’ll be sentened in this case on November 18.

If sentenced to prison, this would not be his first time in lockup as Beanie has previously done time for drug and weapons charges.
