DMX might remain a free man thanks to a plea deal he took last week.
A source close to X told AllHipHop.com that this week a judge will dismiss felony charges of attempted aggravated assault brought against the rapper. The charges were the result of an alleged altercation with a corrections officer where X verbally threatened a guard at Tent City Jail in Arizona.
DMX had been serving a 90-day sentence for a list of charges including animal cruelty and fraud. The rapper was just released on May 14.
According to the source, X may be returning to Miami after his court appearance today.
