Rappers Paul Wall and Baby Bash tweeted their recent run in with the law—pictures and all!
Rappers Paul Wall and Baby Bash showed Twitter their run in with the law on Sunday, posting a twitpic of them handcuffed in the back of an El Paso, Texas police car.
The Houston natives were in town to perform at the Summer Jamm 2011 Saturday at Buchanan’s Event Center, but they instead found themselves arrested at 1:30 a.m. for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana in a drug-free zone.
Apparently Baby Bash, real name Ronald Ray, was more than a little angry about the officers decision to take them in.
“Ain’t 2much worse than a HOE A*S PUNK EL PASO COP that abuses his authority, jus cuz me and Paul wall are artists!,” he tweeted.
But before he suffered a serious back lash, Baby Bash attemped to clarify his angry tweet.
“I’m not here to diss ALL police, they have a tuff gig and I respect that!" He wrote. "BUT u have the ONE or TWO that will disrespect & abuse the power cuz maybe they got picked on in high school alot and now have a chip on they’re shoulder, and that’s exactly wut happened to Us,
He added, "All we did was SMELL like weed and wen he couldn’t find it and we didn’t snitch on who sparked it he got overdramatic and took us in! He found out who we were and really got big shot on us! Haha even his partner said he’s a dick."
According to the El Paso Times, both rappers were released close to 12 hours later around 1 p.m. after each of them paid a $300 bond.
Around that time Paul tweeted, “Fresh out the El Paso County jail wit @BabyBash @BIGGROY in the same tank they held Willie Nelson/Johnny Cash.”
