Jamie Foxx is trying to pass on paying the tab for a party gone wrong.
The actor was sued in April for a party he hosted at Social, a nightclub, back in 2007, TMZ.com reports. A bartender working the event claims he had to get 170 stitches and suffered nerve damage after he fell on broken glass.
He alleges that Jamie is responsible for his medical bills since the star was the one throwing the soiree.
Now, Jamie is striking back at the compliant with a lawsuit of his own, which he filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. He argues that he shouldn’t have to pay the medical expense because he wasn’t responsible for anyone else’s safety.
Jamie is suing Social and a few other companies to foot the bill for the original plaintiff.
