Soulja Boy was locked up today after police caught him with some contraband cargo.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Soulja Boy was arrested early this morning after he was pulled over by police in Temple, Alabama. The rapper was riding with four other men in a Cadillac Escalade at the time.
Reportedly, the cop that searched Soulja Boy’s SUV found a "substantial amount" of marijuana, money and guns in the vehicle.
The rapper and his crew were taken into custody on a list of charges, including marijuana possession, marijuana possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
The five men were taken to Carroll County jail, where they currently remain as their bond has not been set. A rep for the Temple Police Department said that Soulja Boy and his fellow travelers didn’t put up a fight during the arrest, stating, "All of the individuals were very cooperative."
Soulja Boy’s camp has yet to comment on the arrest and the charges against him.
