Despite her bombshell image, Nicki Minaj has admitted that sex used to scare the hell out of her!
Who needs a scary movie when you can just have a hot time in the sack?
You might not guess it from the way she dresses or behaves on stage, but Nicki was once very uncomfortable with s-e-x.
“When I was younger, I felt like I had been taught that pre-marital sex was bad, and so I always felt like if I had pre-marital sex I would go to hell,” she said, according to ShowBizSpy.com. “So when I did, I really felt like, ‘Erm…’"
Nicki fought against the deep-seeded belief for a while before she became more comfortable with her sexuality. “I suppressed that a lot," she admitted. "So I really went through years of trying to make myself feel comfortable. Like, ‘OK, I’m not going to hell.’"
She added, “It was scary at that time I was younger, and you know that’s all I’d been taught. So I spent a lot of time beating myself up.”
