Chris Brown and Rihanna are trying to have a court-imposed “stay away” order lifted.
According to the New York Daily News, the pair wants to work on mending their friendship, which would be impossible under the terms of Chris’ plea deal. The "Freeze" singer was ordered to stay at least 50 yards from Rihanna, and he was told that he couldn’t have any contact with her during his probation.
A source told the Daily News that both Chris and Rihanna think the order is “unnecessary and ridiculous.” The former couple has even begun patching things up over the phone, reportedly, which is in direct violation of the judge’s orders.
Insiders assert that the two aren’t trying to hook up again, but that they do want to get their friendship back on track.
