‘Braxton Family Values’ does big numbers
Yet again the Braxtons are a hit! WE tv has announced the season 2 premiere of "Braxton Family Values " was the #1 cable show among women between the ages of 18 and 34. It was ranked third for women ages 25 to 54.
From last week’s show, which you can watch here, it’s easy to see why the Braxtons make for good TV.
“This extraordinary performance illustrates the appetite audiences have for the Braxtons. We like to say our programming showcases ‘every kind of family, all kinds of drama,’ and that’s certainly true in this case," said WE tv president and general manager Kim Martin. "These women and this show have infiltrated pop culture and taken over the social media conversation, and viewers just can’t seem to get enough.”
This week’s episode promises not to disappoint as Towanda tells her estranged husband to get a job if he wants to save their marriage.
Drakes ‘hearts’ Serena Williams
Drake’s still getting over Rihanna, and he’s got a not-so-secret crush on Nicki Minaj, but has a third woman made her way into his heart?
Ever since Drake was spotted cheering Serena on at one of her matches, people have been wondering if they’re an item. So, when he sat down with Complex magazine, they asked about what’s really going on between him and the tennis pro.
"I really, really love and care for Serena Williams. She’s incredible," Drake said slyly, neither confirming nor denying rumors of their romance. "That’s someone I’m proud to say I know. She’s definitely in my life and I’m in her life. It’s great to watch her play tennis. Very impressive."
Complex also asked the Canadian rapper about his ties to actress Rashida Jones. "Rashida has a beautiful, beautiful spirit," he explained. "So talented, so funny. I met her at Rihanna’s birthday party. I was DJing and she liked my set."

Lady Gaga fires Laurieann Gibson
Lady Gaga has cut ties with her high-profile choreographer Laurieann Gibson. MTV News reported that the professional split came after the two supposedly had a very serious falling out.
Laurieann has been plotting out Lady Gaga’s moves since before the days of "Just Dance" and "Poker Face." One of Gaga’s reps confirmed the split, but it’s not clear when she fired Laurieann.
A Twitter post from Gaga on November 6 suggests that she’s had a new choreographer for at least a week and a half. "Warming up with my choreographer Richard Jackson, singing + pinning garments till the last moment. So excited for The Night, gonna Marry It," she tweeted. Richard is Laurieann’s former #2, but it seems as though he’s risen up the ranks in the Gaga’s camp.
Common debuts ‘Sweet’
Common headed to Haiti for his new video "Sweet." Common went a little harder than we’ve seen him do in a while.
In Sweet, from his upcoming album The Dream, The Believer, the socially-concious lyricist took a couple of shots at rappers that try their hand at singing. "You ain’t no Frank Sinatra," he raps as he talks about how hip-hop needs to find its focus again.
But since it is Common, he did drop in a little love for the President Barack Obama. Find out how he did it in the video below!

Somaya Reece defends Kimbella
Somaya Reece dropped by VH1’s “Morning Buzz Live” to talk about the “Love & Hip Hop” premiere in which returning star Chrissy Lampkin physically assaulted newbie Kimbella.
Although Kimbella’s revelation directly affected—and likely offended—Emily Bustamante, it was Chrissy who decided to take action and use her fists and Louboutined feet to punish Kimbella. In Somaya’s opinion, Emily wanted to do some harm, but that’s just not her nature.
“We all knew that [Emily] was feeling something,” Somaya said.
However, Somaya was a bit sympathetic toward Kimbella and could understand her point of view, too.
“I think Kimbella’s intentions were always right. She had good intentions. It just came out wrong … wrong time," she said.
Somaya also talks about her music projects. Watch below.
