Fans of Niecy Nash who miss the former “Clean House” host’s bubbly personality on their TVs, will soon be able to see the star in two new series.
“We hope our fans welcome us into their homes… we need the room!” said Niecy, in reference to a new TLC reality series that will follow her as she adjusts to life with new hubby Jay Tucker.
“There’s a lot of love in our house, but also a lot of mayhem and foolishness—all the kids are acting crazy. I’m busier than ever, and Jay’s never raised girls before,” Niecy said in a press release.
Niecy isn’t just busy with her new family. She’s also the host of a Yahoo web series. Each week, she doles out the sort of relationship advice that often brought troubled “Clean House” family members to tears.
In addition, Niecy is also slated to star in a TV Land sitcom in 2012, according to Deadline.com. The show is a spin-off of the popular “Hot in Cleveland,” starring Betty White. Niecy will co-star alongside Cedric the Entertainer as his wife.
In real life, fans were able to witness Niecy become a wife for the second time when she wed Jay in June. TLC was there to chronicle the event for a wedding special that drew nearly 5 million viewers to the network.
The new eight-episode reality show, described as a docu-series, is expected to premiere in early 2012.
"This series will reveal the journey of bringing a blended family together, and Niecy brings her heartfelt and often hysterical views of being a hard-working mom, wife and daughter,” said TLC GM, Amy Winter.
