A clip from one of Michael Jackson’s unreleased songs has just hit the ’Net.
TMZ.com reports that MJ recorded a song called “A Place With No Name” some time ago, but it’s not clear when he may have laid the track down.
The single plays heavily on the melody of “A Horse With No Name,” which was release by a band called America back in the ’70s. Song similarities aside, band manager Jim Morey gave Michael the green light to record the song.
"The band was honored that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael’s fans to hear,” said Jim, who also managed from the late ’80s into the early ’90s.
You can listen to a snippet of the song here.
