Three 6 Mafia are about to go from recording hot tracks to cooking up hot meals in their newest TV project.
“We got a new show coming out…it’s a cooking show,” DJ Paul excitedly told S2S at the BET Awards. We cook anything, we cook Jewish food, we cook Japanese food, Greek food, we cook everything. … My favorite food to prepare is barbeque ribs.”
“Cookin’ Ain’t Easy” is like a reality show and a cooking show rolled up into one. Every week will feature DJ Paul and Juicy J preparing a dish and then serving it at a dinner party for their friends. And while the guys work their magic in the kitchen, viewers can follow along and learn the recipe at home.
“It is a completely fresh approach to a cooking show, “executive producer Adam Briles said in a statement. “You get much of the same take-away information that viewers expect from the genre, but it is served up in such a unique, relatable and funny way that it is just flat out entertaining.”
It hasn’t been announced what network “Cookin’ Ain’t Easy” would appear on, but this sounds like something you’d expect to see on E! or MTV (maybe even Oxygen).
