Romeo’s going to be out for revenge in Tyler Perry’s upcoming flick, Madea’s Witness Protection.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tyler will be stepping back into the role of his ubiquitous-yet-polarizing character when the film begins shooting in Atlanta next week.
Madea’s Witness Protection will center on a man, played by Eugene Levy, who is sent into protective custody after his investment firm collapses under the weight of a ponzi scheme. Eugene’s family will move from a wealthy town in Connecticut to take up residence with Madea.
Denise Richard is set to portray Eugene’s wife. Romeo will play a young man who tries to take matters into his own hands and get reveng after he thinks Eugene ripped off his church.
Doris Roberts, Devan Leos, Tom Arnold and Danielle Campbell are also set to appear in the film.
