At a time when many artists are pushing their album releases back, Whitney Houston is dropping her album sooner than expected.
According to Singersroom.com, the singer will be releasing her comeback album, I Look to You, on August 31, one day earlier than originally announced.
To celebrate, Whitney is offering up a free download of the album’s title track on her Web site. That gift is available now through August 31, when the whole album hits stores and online retailers.
I Look To You is the singer’s first album in five years, and by pushing the release date up, she’s now made the project eligible for Grammy consideration.
