Days after Michael Vick was reinstated to the NFL he might be prepping to play for a new team.
When asked about the possibility of signing with a new football team, all Michael would say was,”We’re getting close,” the Associated Press reports. Unfortunately, he didn’t say which team he’s getting close to signing a contract with.
This leaves the question of who the former Atlanta Falcons quarter back could potentially be playing with this season. But no matter where he winds up, the earliest he’ll be allowed on the field is Week 6 of the pro football season. And if no major teams sign him, he’s got the option of playing for a minor league team.
One place Michael won’t be playing, though, is New York. Both the New York Jets and New Yorks Giants have made it clear that they’re not interested in signing him any time soon.
