Beyoncé’s I Am… tour has been named the world’s top selling concert attraction.
I Am… ranked #1 on Billboard’s Hot Tours chart, beating out it closet competitor by about $11 million. And the honor is well deserved, too. Bey’s tour has managed to sell 97 percent of the tickets offered for her shows world wide, taking in more than $26.4 million.
Part of her success includes four sold-out concerts at London’s O2 arena and Dublin’s O2 arena each.
The U.S. leg of the I Am… wrapped Sunday in Las Vegas at the Encore Theater, but in case you couldn’t make it out to see Sasha at the Wynn, then you’re in luck: The singer taped one of her last shows for a DVD that’s slated for a November release.
According to EURweb.com, Bey’s usual set was scaled down to fit the mood of the show, which has been dubbed “An Intimate Performance by Beyoncé.”
