Whitney Houston photo leak to be investigated

Cissy Houston has asked authorities to find out who leaked an open-casket picture of Whitney Houston.

RadarOnline.com reports Whitney’s mother is requesting that detectives track down the source of a picture published in the National Enquirer just days after the diva’s passing. The tabloid ran a picture on its cover of Whitney in her casket following her funeral.

That was only one in a set of pictures taken after the "I Will Always Love You" singer died. Supposedly, a shot of Whitney being carted around the Beverly Hilton in a body bag was also among the controversial crop of photos.

The family is curious how anyone would have been in a position to take such a shot as Beverly Hills police had locked down the floor where Whitney died. However, there is surveillance footage of a person who may have snapped the picture and Whitney’s loved ones now want an investigation into the leak.

“They need and deserve to know who took the pictures and if the person profited from it,” a source close to the situation said.

Meanwhile, Target is scrambling to pull a greeting card ridiculing Whitney Houston from its shelves. The offending item reads, "Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston. That’s all I’m going to say."

A rep for Target said that the card was stocked before Whitney’s untimely passing, but the company is rushing to dispose of them. “As soon as this was brought to our attention, we began the process of removing the card from all applicable stores," the company said in a statement.
