From cheaters (Eric Benet) to beaters (Dave Justice), Halle Berry has never been known to have the best judgment when it comes to men; but her latest ex might just be the worst yet.
Gabriel Aubry, Halle’s ex-boyfriend and father to their daughter Nahla, has filed papers in court requesting $15,000-$20,000 a month from Berry, citing that the Academy Award winner has set a standard of living that he is unable to provide for the 3-year-old. Aubry has also asked for money for, among other things, clothing and travel to his home country, Canada, according to TMZ.
Gabriel is estimated to be worth $4.5 million, according to celebritynetworth.com. So it would seem that he would be able to provide adequate housing, schooling and clothing for their young daughter. But according to Gabriel, Nahla is “accustomed to” finer things and should not have to compromise her lofty standards of living.
Halle has not spoken publicly about the case, but is reportedly vehemently fighting the financial request.
The hearing for all of the fiduciary issues will take place on April 9.
Halle obviously makes more money than Aubrey, and if the tables were turned, he’d be expected to support her financially. Does he have good reason to request financial support from her?
