Tracee Ellis Ross is returning to network TV with a pilot for "Bad Girls." Deadline.com reports that Tracee will play a woman named Rachel on the drama, which centers on a group of women at a federal prison.
Rachel was a high-powered businesswoman who sold fake mortgages before she got locked up. Not unlike Tracee’s "Girlfriends" character Joan Clayton, Rachel put off having kids for the sake of her career. Now that she’s got more time on her hands she desperately wants a baby.
There’s no word on when "Bad Girls" will make it to air, but there’s word that Jurnee Smollett will also star on the show as the lead character. According to Black Thespian, Jurnee will play a famous rapper that was busted by the DEA.
DMX works it out with estranged wife
The status of DMX’s relationship with his estranged wife Tashera is always up for debate. Are they together or not? Doesn’t he have a girlfriend? Wasn’t Tashera supposed to be writing a book?
That could be why the pair is heading to VH1 to straighten out their relationship on "Couples Therapy." DMX and Tashera sit down for their first session on March 21 at 9 p.m. on VH1, but here’s a look at what you can expect.

Stacey Dash fired from movie
Stacey Dash is out of another job.
reports that Stacey, who starred in the wildly popular VH1 series "Single Ladies" last year," has been fired from her new movie.
Supposedly, Stacey was cut from Supremacy because of her "direspectful attitude" with the cast and crew. She’d racked up so many complaints that producers had to let her go.
MouthToEars.com reports that Stacey has been replaced by Lela Rochon in the movie, which also stars Danny Glover and Evan Ross.
