Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum is denying allegations that he almost slipped and referred to President Barack Obama as the N-word.
In a speech on Thursday, Rick harkened back to the days when Barack was just a candidate, describing him as “an anti-war, government nig—.”
There aren’t too many nouns starting with “nig” that could easily fit into that sentence, but a rep for Rick spoke to The Guardian and denied that the N-word was about to follow.
“Give me a break. That’s unbelievable. What does it say about those that are running with this story that that’s where their mind goes,” said Hogan Gidley who refused to “dignify” the assumptions by clarifying what Rick was about to say.
