Think Like a Man star Terrence J is hoping moviegoers will come out and support the film and send a clear message to Hollywood.
“If we support it the right way at the box office, it’s going to open up the door and create a lot more opportunity for films like this,” Terrence told S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown.
The movie, based on Steve Harvey’s advice book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, stars a predominantly Black cast. That’s something that has seemed to be reserved for Tyler Perry fare lately to the displeasure of some Madea critics.
However, Terrence J said Think Like a Man isn’t the cookie cutter film some might think.
“There’s nothing like this film. This film is a classic. There’s nothing that I’ve been a part of that’s been even close to this,” he said.
Regina Hall and Terrence talk about their on-screen kiss. Was it good? Watch.
