Keyshia Cole is returning to reality TV with a new hubby and son in tow when “Keyshia Cole: Family First” premieres on BET.
There were rumors that Keyshia’s wedding to NBA hubby Daniel Gibson would be televised, but the 2011 ceremony hasn’t aired yet. It’s unclear whether the new series will give fans an inside look at the nuptials, but it’s been confirmed that the family will open up its home to reality TV cameras.
Of course, this isn’t Keyshia’s first romp with reality TV. She starred in “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” on BET for three seasons before calling it quits to focus on her music.
Her mom and sister, Frankie Lyons and Neffe Pugh, respectively, took over with their show, aptly named “Frankie & Neffe,” but that series was short-lived. It seems “Family First” will focus more on Keyshia’s new family.
The new six-episode series is scheduled to debut this fall and BET is calling on “Tiny & Toya” and “The Way It Is” producer, James DuBose, to make the show a success.
