Natalie Cole returned to the stage for the first time since her kidney transplant.
The Associated Press reports that she performed at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
The audience welcomed Natalie, clad in a dazzling purple gown by Llloyd Klein, with a standing ovation. The 59-year-old singer then sang a set of songs from her latest album, Still Unforgettable. But she didn’t deny the audience a few of her Grammy-winning hits, either.
Natalie had her transplant in May, which put all her plans for tour promoting Still Unforgettable on hold.
