Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash will have some high-profile company on the premiere season of "Soul Man."
Tamar and Trina Braxton are not the only ones that will be coming to church this season! BlackThespian.com reports that they are just two of the guests that have been tapped to appear.
Niecy (who plays Lolli) got her BFF Sherri Shepherd to stop by on the show, playing a cousin named Sherie who is always up to no good.
Viewers can also expect to see Anthony Anderson as Sweet Brown, who comes to St. Louis to help the Rev. Boyce (played by Cedric) get over his writer’s block while coming up with a sermon. Sweet Brown and Boyce used to be writing partners before Boyce decided to become a preacher.
Kim Coles will also be popping in as a customer at Lolli’s salon looking for a special shampoo that has women everywhere buzzing.
Tamar and Trina are playing sisters who want to sing in the choir. Problems arise, however, when they discover they’re dating the same man. See how the sisters battle it out in the pupit this season on "Soul Man," debuting in June on TV Land.
