Fans to celebrate Left Eye’s birthday in Atlanta

    This year marked a decade since the loss of renowned member of TLC Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. In honor of her life, on Sunday, May 27, family, celebs and fans will all gather together to celebrate her birthday at Justin’s Cake Café Atlanta and Chocolate Bar.

    Lisa’s mother,Wanda and her two siblings, Ronald and Reigndrop Lopes, will all be in attendance. Alongside the family, some confirmed celebrities that are expected to attend are: Toya Wright and hubby MeMpHiTz, Demitria McKinney, EMI soul and pop singer Sammie, TLC founder Ian Burke, producer Teddy Bishop, members of Blaque and many more.

    The brunch will be held from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. The tickets are $30, and the proceeds will go to the Lisa Lopes Foundation. The organization was created to carry on the vision and legacy of Lisa, and to help to increase the motivation and success in youth from low-income communities.

    The party will also serves as the official launch of the First Annual Left Eye Music Fest, which will take place July 28 at the Porter Sandford III Performing Arts Center at 3181 Rainbow Drive in Decatur, Georia.

    The fest will be a blend of Lisa’s creative tastes in music, fashion and food. It will be open to the public and will include a kids concert, talent showcase, fashion show and tribute concert.
