Brandy and Monica scrap tour?

Brandy and Monica might not be hitting the road together any time soon.

Brandy and Monica’s possible joint tour has only amounted to so much buzz. According to Brandy, despite their new duet "It All Belongs to Me," the ladies may not be mapping out any shows together.

"Um, honestly, we haven’t really talked about it since we stopped promoting ‘It All Belongs to Me,’" Brandy revealed to BarkBiteBlog.com. "I just honestly think Monica and I are in different places in our music, and my vibe is a little bit different this time around. So, I don’t know."

And if Brandy’s really being honest, she doesn’t feel like going on tour with Monica is the right move for her right now.

"I kind of wanna do my own thing. I definitely feel like the fans would want a tour from us, but I don’t know," said Brandy, who didn’t rule out the possibility of a double tour in the future. "I just feel like I’m being pulled in a different direction. I’m definitely still open to it, but right now I’m looking in a different way right now for me."

Frank Ocean might be helping Brandy find the new direction she’s heading in, as the "Thinking About You" crooner worked with Brandy on her new album.

"He gave me a great song called ‘Scared of Beautiful,’ and I think the meaning of that record is just so huge," Brandy revealed, explaining that the concept of the song speaks to those who are afraid to be a success or become the best version of themselves. She thinks it could also be about people that are just afraid to love. "It could be taken in so many different ways and there are so many double entendres going on in that song."

Brandy said there are no guarantees that fans will ever hear it as part of the official album, though, stating, "I really hope that it makes the album, I really hope it does."
