The Eagles made two big changes to their roster by activating Michael Vick and cutting Hank Baskett.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Hank was cut from the Eagles when they couldn’t trade him off Monday night. That move made room for Michael Vick to be upgraded from the Eagles’ exempt list.
Now that Michael has been activated, making him part of a 53-man roster, he could take the field as soon as September 27 when his new team will be playing against the Kansas City Chiefs. This also mean he’s now able to practice with the Eagles starting today.
Hank, a receiver who recently married Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson, had already played in the team’s season opener on Sunday. When asked for comment about his recent oust, he simply said, “I’m not speaking about it.”
