“True Blood” fans remember that season 4 ended with a cliffhanger as Tara, played by Rutina Wesley, lay bleeding and near death.
Rutina addressed the million-dollar question that will be answered Sunday when the new season premieres. Will Tara return?
“I’m definitely coming back. We just don’t know how and how the outcome [is] going to be," Rutina told “Access Hollywood.”
Assuming that her bloody body, missing half its brain, will still be strewn across the floor when the season opens, will the character survive past the first episode?
Rutina wouldn’t answer that question directly, but she did offer some insight into the new season.
“It’s a doozy. It’s going to be great,” she said. “This season gets pretty big. We meet the Authority this season. I think it’s going to be one of our best seasons yet, and I think [the characters] are going to have to decide which side they’re on. There’s a lot of crazy stuff that’s happening."
