Tamera Mowry and her husband Adam Housley have learned that they are expecting a baby boy.
“I’m having a baby boy! We’re so thrilled,” the actress told In Touch magazine.
Tamera has already begun preparing for her new mommy role by “practicing” with her twin sister Tia Mowry’s son Cree and even started decorating the nursery with a “sports theme.”
Tamera also admitted that she always wanted a baby boy to add to her family. “I want a boy because I have two brothers whom I love and adore,” Tamera said to People magazine in April. “I helped raise my brothers so I have somewhat of an experience raising boys. I haven’t the slightest idea about raising a girl. It’s like the unknown.”
Tia has been very supportive of her sister’s pregnancy and her book, Oh, Baby! is also helping other mothers cope with the not-so glamorous side of their pregnancy. “In the book, I mention that I peed on myself during my pregnancy,” Tia told MyStyle.com. “Sometimes when you cough or you sneeze or you laugh, you pee on yourself and nobody has ever told me that. It’s happening to my sister right now, but she knew it would happen, because it happened to me.”
What other advice is Tia giving Tamera? Rock a blazer with her outfits. “That’s one of my tips that I give in my book—one of my top 10 go-to tips to be one hot mama.” She also recommends wearing high heels whenever possible. “Tamera is rocking the heels! You won’t be able to wear heels later on in your pregnancy, so wear them as long as you can, she said.
“Tia and Tamera” airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. EST on the Style network.
