Drake’s crew may have tangled with Chris Brown and his boys, but the Canadian rapper’s camp said he never laid a hand on the crooner.
You’ve probably heard by now that Drake and Chris got into a bottle-tossing tussle in New York City last night at W.I.P. Well that story’s not exactly accurate according to Drake’s camp.
Why? The "Take Care" rappers reps claim that he was leaving the club when the fight broke out.
"Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.I.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began," a statement from his camp reads. "He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”
Chris’ camp still hasn’t singled any one out when it comes to who cut up the singer’s chin. His rep did acknowledge that he wasn’t the only one in his crew to get banged up. Injuries ranged from that scrape Chris got to the huge gash on the head his bodyguard suffered as a result of the brawl.
"Brown, his model girlfriend Karrueche Tran and other friends ‘sustained several injuries,’" Chris’ rep said in a statement. "Chris and his party are cooperating with New York authorities who are pursuing this incident further."
