Tyler Perry said he felt the need to yet again stick up for Kim Kardashian, who apparently has talent.
When he hired Kim for The Marriage Counselor, the public was collectively confused and a little upset about the decision. Despite what haters had to say, though, Tyler stands by the casting.
“She’s a good actress,” Tyler told reporters at the New York premiere of Madea’s Witness Protection. “She did a really good job.”
This is not the first time he’s spoken out about Kim’s performance on set. However, this time, he revealed why he felt the need to come to her defense.
“There was a lot going on with her marriage and all that stuff at the time,” he said, reminding everyone that she worked on the movie right around the same time she decided to end her marriage to Kris Humphries after just 72 days. “All that stuff, that’s in the past. The movie’s called The Marriage Counselor. Of course it had something to do with that.”
