Kelly Rowland wants the MOBO Awards to apologize for an audio mishap during her performance Wednesday.
The singer took to the ceremony stage in Glasgow, Scotland, to perform her smash hit, “When Love Takes Over,” with David Guetta. But instead of taking over the stage like she had planned, the performance came off like a bad karaoke session.
Kelly hadn’t been singing for 10 seconds before the audio began cutting out. Ever the professional, Ms. Rowland held it together for the rest of the performance, but she set it off on Twitter later.
“The MoBo’s F’d my sound up!!!!!,” Kelly tweeted. “HONESTLY, that just makes me work harder! But, what I will say is the MoBo’s owe me an apology!!!! I was LIVID after the show! I wanted you guys to be the 1st to hear it from me!”
In closing, Kelly insisted that the rehearsals and the sound checks had gone fine, and she assured, “The next show will be Better!—TRUST!!!!!!!!!"
