Usher may be making some confessions about the break up of his marriage when his new single, “Filing Papers,” drops.
According to Singersroom.com the crooner is releasing the song sometime today. The track was produced by Sean Garret and supposedly the lyrics from Usher’s own life, and it centers on his split from Tameka Foster.
The song was recorded well before the singer actually filed divorce papers this summer, but Sean didn’t exactly know the song was so prophetic when he produced it.
"Let’s say I wrote a record for Usher three or four months ago where I really didn’t have any idea of what he was going through personally,” he told MTV News. “I felt that was the question everyone wanted to know: Was [his relationship] good or was it bad? Was it right? Are you happy or you’re not?"
“Filing Papers” will be the lead single off of Usher’s forthcoming album, Monster, which is slated to drop in December.
