Queen Latifah is moving ahead with plans to become a mommy!
According to "Entertainment Tonight," the Ice Age 4: Continental Drift star told Barbara Walters that she’s in the process of adopting a child.
“I’m actually kind of working on that," Latifah said when asked if it’s something she seriously considers. “I just always wanted to bring a child home.”
Latifah’s rep told People magazine that there was "nothing to new report"; it seems Queen has a little more prep to do.
“I’m totally serious, so if you got a kid that you don’t…," Latifah joked. "just give me a year—let me set up camp and send me the kid. But no, no [I'm] totally [serious about adopting].”
