NeNe Leakes said rumors of her getting fired from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" are false.
NeNe was hit with two rounds of gossip this week, when sources close to production told the New York Daily News that she and Kandi Burruss got into a physical fight with the "RHOA" production crew while shooting season 5.
Shortly thereafter, there were whispers that NeNe’s job was on the line because she supposedly hit a Bravo employee in the face.
What’s she got to say about it? "The rumors of me being involved n a physical altercation or possibly being fired from the housewives is NOT TRUE," NeNe tweeted.
NeNe’s not letting the chatter get her out of character. Instead, she’s dismissing the gossip and focusing on the amazing opportunities that have come her way this year.
"Defaming a persons character is what some people do best! I hav [sic] never had a physical altercation on our show," NeNe stated. "I hav [sic] so many positive things 2 look forward 2 & i’am [sic] n such a great place right now business & personal."
One of the positive things is a recurring role on the NBC sitcom, "The New Normal."
