Mariah Carey’s Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel has debuted at #1!
The album came out on top this week on the Soundscan R&B chart, and that’s good news for Mimi.
Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel had suffered a few set backs over the summer, and the drop date was actually delayed twice. It was quietly released on September 22. Sales were driven by her hit singles “Obsessed” and the gospel-tinged “I Want To Know What Love Is.”
The album is a two-disc project, and the most of the tracks were written and produced by Mariah, Tricky Stewart and The Dream. The first disc is the actual album, and the second offers several remixes and two music videos.
Be sure to watch out for the next single off of Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, "H.A.T.E.U.," which should drop in the coming weeks.
