Tameka Foster is not giving up her babies without a fight.
It was reported on Friday that Tameka has lost her custody battle with ex-husband Usher Raymond in major way, as a judge awarded him primary custody of their sons, Usher V and Naviyd.
After judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane handed down her decision, Tameka had a few choice words for the world.
“A woman’s loyalty is tested when her man has nothing… A mans loyalty is tested when he has everything!” Tameka tweeted. “Don’t fear the enemy that attacks you… Fear the fake friend that hugs you. There’s not much worse.”
But Usher’s ex-wife is not limiting her reaction to a few emotional tweets! Tameka, who feels that Usher had an unfair advantage in their custody case, is planning to appeal the judge’s decision.
According to TMZ.com, Tameka found out that the Usher’s lawyers work for a firm that held a fundraiser for the judge back in 2008. A campaign contribution report showed that the event raised $1,278, but StraightFromTheA.com has documents showing that was only the amount it cost to host the fundraiser. It’s rumored that the firm actually raised just over $24,000 for the judge.
In Tameka’s opinion, this could have given Usher’s side an unfair advantage in the custody case. Now she is looking to get another decision, and she’s already filed to appeal the judge’s ruling.
This should come as no surprise for anyone who read Tameka’s statement released earlier this month after Usher tried to delay further custody hearings following the death of Tameka’s son, Kile Glover.
My boys are my entire world," Tameka asserted, "and I will fight tooth and nail to keep all of my sons together as a family, I pray for a swift, peaceful resolution so that we all can move forward.
In the meantime, a court clerk rep said that Usher’s custody will begin on September 1.
