Chris Brown gets in some hang time

Chris Brown just can’t seem to stay away from the courts as of late.

According to, he was shooting some hoops at the University of Mary Washington on March 31 when the women’s basketball team asked to snap a shot with him.

Chris will be in a Los Angeles County Court on Monday, April 6 for his arraignment on felony charges of assault and making criminal threats.  Those charges stem from the case of his alleged fight with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Rihanna’s cooperation in the case has been in question: Would she testify against Chris, or not?

Well, the L.A. County District Attorney is clearing up any confusion. "We deal with her attorney who says she is a cooperating victim," a spokesperson for the D.A. told

Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra also said, "She will do everything that the law requires her to do…nothing has changed."

Whichever way the case turns out, Soulja Boy Tell’em is wishing both Chris and Rihanna the best of luck, Entertainment Weekly reports.  However, he had a few words of advice for Chris at last Saturday’s 2009 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

"[Chris] needs to be focused on fixing himself right now and fixing the relationship. I don’t know what went wrong or what happened exactly, but I couldn’t be more shocked," Soulja Boy told EW.  "I hope they both get through it in a positive light. It is going to be tough because they are going through it all publicly."
