Chris Brown’s camp says he’s not dating anyone right now, but is that because he’s trying to get back with Rihanna?
This news comes after pictures of Chris leaving a tattoo parlor with Girlicious’ Natalie Mejia and another man popped up all over the blogosphere.
"Chris was in a Hollywood tattoo parlor with a woman from the recording studio named Dean, who was getting a tattoo,"One of Chris’ reps told People. "Natalie Mejia was there with Dean. [Reports in other media] that Natalie Mejia is Chris’ new girlfriend are also false."
Natalie, however, tells a different story. “We did visit a tattoo parlor together but I can’t say if we got anything done because that is personal,” she told Radar Online.
"Things are going well between us, but I really do not want to comment much more than that right now." She continued. "[He] has treated me like a [sic] gentleman at all times actually and there are no complaints."
Then there were the reports that he’d hooked up with hometown ex-girlfriend, Erica Jackson; she’s a student at University of Mary Washington where Chris was recently spotted shooting hoops. Chris’ rep told People that those claims were wrong, too.
Of course there were also reports that Rihanna and Chris spent some time together over Easter weekend, according to People.
While Chris is busy dodging rumors that he’s on the rebound, Rihanna has already gone back to work.
According to TheLifeFiles.com RiRi was spotted heading to a Santa Monica recording studio. She was reportedly there to lay down some tracks for her forthcoming album over the weekend.
Singersroom.com reports that Rihanna is feeling pretty confident about the new project, which is slated for release later this year.
It doesn’t hurt that she’s got a slew of hot producers lined up for the project, like Ryan Tedder. You might remember him for his work on Beyonce’s “Halo”, or Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love.”
Although his involvement on the project hasn’t been confirmed yet, Rihanna’s label (Def Jam) has called the CD a monster album.
