An auction of Michael Jackson’s personal belongings has been cancelled after a settlement.
The Associated Press reports that MJJJ Productions (Michael’s production company) sued Julien’s Auctions last month to stop the sale. His previous attempt to stop the auction had failed.
Among the items up for bid were his trademark gloves, costumes, MTV Music Awards statues, a throne, paintings, arcade games and even the golden gates to Neverland Ranch. That’s the short list because there were so many items to auction off that Julien’s had to put together five different catalogues of all Mijac’s belongings.
The lots can still be viewed at Julien’s who had extended the original exhibition until April 25, which is when the auction would have ended.
