New York gets ready to work it

Monday always means back to work, even for Tiffany “New York” Pollard; but what job she will be doing is up to you.

For the first episode of VH1’s “New York Goes to Work,” the reality TV diva will have to work one of three jobs: a) ranch hand, b) baker or c) exterminator.

Starting today, fans can vote on which occupation they want her to tryout by texting their choice to 62626. You’ve got plenty of time to have your say because voting is open until 11:59 p.m. PST on May 1.

The winning job will be revealed on the season premiere of “New York Goes to Work” on May 4 at 10:00 p.m. If she can make it through a week, and manage to impress her prospective supervisors, then she stands to earn $10,000 an episode. If she can’t meet expectations, then she gets nothing.

However, telling the self-proclaimed H.B.I.C what to do will cost you. There’s a $1 charge on each vote, not including standard text messaging fees. The most you’ll be dropping is about $10 because everyone is limited to 10 votes per week.
