Uncle Charlie breaks his own record

Love at first sight has Charlie Wilson sitting on top of the charts.

Uncle Charlie’s current single, “There Goes My Baby,” has been parking in the #1 spot on the Urban Adult Contemporary chart for seven weeks in a row. That breaks the record he set when “Charlie, Last Name Wilson,” held the top rank for six weeks.
“There Goes My Baby” is the first single off of his new album, Uncle Charlie, which debuted at #1 on the R&B Album Chart. The CD entered the Pop Album chart at #2.
The song was written by Babyface and Calvin Richardson and it’s based on a man falling in love at first sight. “When they presented me with this song, I knew it was winner,” Charlie said.
And get used to seeing a lot more of Uncle Charlie as he’s been pulled for a guest appearance on Lil’ Kim’s upcoming single, “Download.” He’ll be in the video as well.
