Jennifer Hudson has to get her pipes right before she can get back on stage.
Accodring to E! Online, Jen is postponing concert dates as the opening act for Robin Thicke because of a throat condition. Doctors are reportedly treating her for the ailment that’s related to her singing.
Her May 5 gig in Oakland, California has been rescheduled for May 19. Stops in Dallas and Houston have also been pushed back, but there’s no word on when she’ll be making up those shows.
Her last performance was at Los Angeles’ Nokia Center on May 2 when Chaka Khan joined her for a performance of “Sweet Thing.” If that isn’t the diva stamp of approval, we don’t know what is.
In the meantime, we wish J. Hud a speedy recovery.
