Chris Brown’s camp is denying that the embattled singer had anything to with racy pics being leaked onto the ’Net.
The photos feature a woman that resembles Rihanna and sports a similar haircut, MTV News reports. The shots, taken in different mirrors, show her in varying amounts of clothes. A man that looks like Chris is also seen in the pics.
After viewing the risqué pictures, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton said that Chris “must be responsible” for the leak. He didn’t really offer anything solid that would link the crooner to it, though.
A spokesperson for Jive Records wrote a statement coming to Breezy’s defense.
"Rumors that images circulating on the web which purport to be provocative photos of Rihanna were ‘leaked’ by Chris Brown are both false and defamatory," they stated. "Chris has not released or ‘leaked’ any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter.”
It’s not clear from the pictures whether the naked woman really is RiRi. TMZ.com reports that Island Def Jam has neither confirmed nor denied that it is, in fact, her; but they did say that the shots were a violation of “the artist’s rights.” The label also sent a letter to the site that posted the pictures and demanded that they immediately be removed.
