Mike Tyson’s daughter Exodus has died after a hanging accident on a treadmill.

E! News reports that the 4-year-old girl was pronounced dead at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26.

The family released a statement about her passing yesterday.

"There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus," they said. "We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."

Exodus had been on life support at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. She was rushed ot the facility after her 7-year-old brother found her with her neck caught in a cable attached the piece of exercise equipment.

“Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console – it’s kind of a loop,” Police Sgt. Andy Hill told FOX News. “Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.”
Authorities believe this horrible incident was an accident. "There’s nothing in the investigation that revealed anything suspicious," said Andy.
