Rihanna might have to testify against Breezy when she sees him in court next month.
Rihanna’s been looking good since she popped back on the scene following Chris Brown’s alleged assault on her back in February. But she’s about to take a break from partying and making cameos in videos so she can tell the whole truth, nothing but the truth.
Donald Etra, Rihanna’s attorney, told US Magazine that the pop star will be attending a hearing next month as a possible witness in the assault case against her ex-lover.
“The DA told me Rihanna will be subpoenaed. I will accept on her behalf. She will appear in court, and if asked to testify she will do so,” Etra said.
But Chris doesn’t seem to be worried about the Barbadian beauty. His attorney, Mark Geragos, issued a motion to receive confidential police and investigative records to determine who leaked the now infamous photo of a bruised and beaten Rihanna to the media.
Although Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg denied the motion, she informed Chris and Mark that they could file again after the preliminary hearing, which might help them if the court finds that the image was leaked unlawfully.
To our knowledge this will be the first time in a long time that RiRi and Breezy have seen each other. We wonder how that’s going to go down. After all, he just recently declared that he was not a monster.
And we guess that “pit-bull in a skirt” Eve is one of the “haters” he talked about in that video because this is what she tweeted about Breezy just this week.
“He’s guilty until proven innocent, and no man should ever raise a hand to a woman, I’m so sick of people kissin’ his a**,” Eve wrote. “And a message to Rihanna: girl your beautiful and talented and u don’t need a ni**a like that around u…ur special and deserve better.”
Eve is not one to be played with! She’s obviously upset about the whole situation. Breezy better watch out, Eve don’t have paws on her chest for nothing!
