Dennis Rodman is going to rehab and he’s getting help for his substance abuse problems from VH1.
The basketball star and former contestant on “The Celebrity Apprentice” will be on the next season of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
The series will follow nine celebrities going through detox at The Pasadena Recovery Center. They’ll undergo an intensive three-week program lead by Dr. Drew Pinsky, who’ll be using conventional and non-traditional therapies in helping the celebs get over their various addictions. Viewers will also get to peek in on their group therapy sessions as well as their one-on-ones with Dr. Drew.
Reports of Dennis’ drinking problems have circulated for a while, and last year TMZ.com reported that he had entered an outpatient rehab facility. That came just days after he was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery.
Hollywood madame Heidi Fleiss, actor Tom Sizemore and country star Mindy McCready are among the other patients. Fans of “America’s Next Top Model” will recognize Lisa D’Amato from Cycle 5.
The third season of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” is slated to premiere in early 2010.
