Taraji goes pop in new campaign

Apparently, the next thing you get after an Oscar nomination and a starring role in a Tyler Perry film is an endorsement deal. Just ask Taraji P. Henson!
The actress will be starring in Pepsi new ad campaign, We Inspire, where she’ll be representing love, according to the New York Daily News. And it’s a fitting role for her since the P. in her name stands for Penda, which is Swahili for “love.”
"You don’t have to pay for it, and it’s unconditional. It’s hard when you get cut off the road in traffic, but it’s what I try to practice," Taraji told the Daily News during a break in a photo shoot for the campaign.

So what’s next for her? Taraji will be starring in Kung Fu Kid (a take off on The Karate Kid) where she’ll be playing Jaden Smith’s mama. Jackie Chan will be playing Jaden’s teacher, Mr. Han.
