Are we on TV yet?

Are We There Yet? is being turned into a sitcom for TBS.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, TBS has ordered 10 episodes of the show, and it has option to pick 90 more if the series does well.
In “Are We There Yet,” viewers will see Terry Crews (the dad from “Everybody Hates Chris”) take over the role of Nick, which was played by Ice Cube on the big screen.
"[Terry] is the perfect person to replace me as Nick. His physical comedy is undeniable,” said Cube, who hasn’t been frozen out of the show. He’ll have a recurring role in the series (no word on what that will be), and he’s acting as one of the executive producers.
Debmar-Mercury is distributing the sitcom, which is good news for the show. The company already has two successful series running on TBS: “House of Payne” and “Meet the Browns”
"We are confident that ‘Are We There Yet?’ will fit extremely well within TBS’ popular and diverse comedy lineup," said Michael Wright, TBS’ executive vice president and head of programming.
You can see just how good a fit “Are We There Yet?” is when it premieres next summer.
