Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna got militant while shooting the video for “Run This Town.”
The trio filmed the clip on location at Fort Totten Park in Queens, New York in Thursday, August 6. The park is actually a Civil War site.
Jay-Z and his cohorts rallied the troops for the shoot, calling in more than 80 extras to appear in the video.
Kanye’s girl, Amber Rose, was on hand for the video shoot, but there’s no word on whether she’ll be featured in “Run This Town.” However, she did seem to be dressed in the right uniform. All three artists looked like they were ready for war in the all-black attire that included bandanas, hoodies and, in Rihanna’s case, leather shorts. In case you’re wondering, yes, that is a bullet belt wrapped around RiRi’s waist. The set looked equally as battle worn thanks to a few flipped vehicles and blazing fires.
Check out another shot of Jay, ’Ye and Rihanna on the set with director Anthony Mandler.
