Jordin Sparks will bring her battlefield to the big top this fall.
Singersroom.com reports that the “American Idol” winner has replaced Ciara as the opening act for Britney Spears’ Circus tour. There’s no word on what may have caused the swap out.
Britney’s camp announced in a statement that Jordin will only be on hand for some of the U.S. tour dates, including stops in major cities like New York, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles. “Previously announced opening act Kristinia DeBarge will join the tour for all dates,” they added.
Jordin’s run will end on September 27 when the tour does shows at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
